Kaiju Noodle House

Overview

If you're in the mood for a unique dining experience that blends traditional flavors with modern twists, Kaiju Noodle House is a must-visit spot. Located at 1167 E Alosta Ave, Azusa, CA 91702, this cozy eatery has quickly become a favorite among locals and visitors alike. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, making it the perfect place to enjoy a meal with friends, family, or even solo.

When it comes to the menu, Kaiju Noodle House offers an impressive selection of dishes that cater to all tastes. Whether you're a fan of rich, hearty ramen or you're looking to try something a little more adventurous, there’s something here to please every palate. The restaurant's specialty is, of course, its ramen. From the classic Shoyu to more creative options like their signature Spicy Miso, each bowl is crafted with fresh ingredients and packed with bold, flavorful broths. The noodles themselves are always perfectly cooked-firm, chewy, and the perfect vehicle for soaking up those delicious broths.

One standout item is the Tonkotsu Ramen. The pork broth is rich and creamy, with just the right balance of savory and umami notes. The tender slices of pork belly melt in your mouth, and the soft-boiled egg adds an extra touch of indulgence. Pair it with a side of gyoza or a crispy spring roll, and you've got a meal that’s both satisfying and comforting.

For those who aren’t as familiar with ramen, Kaiju Noodle House offers a variety of other dishes to explore. Their rice bowls, like the Teriyaki Chicken or Beef Yakiniku, offer a tasty alternative to noodle dishes, packed with flavor and served with fresh veggies. If you're looking for a lighter option, their salads are refreshing and well-seasoned, and they even have a vegetarian-friendly ramen for those who prefer plant-based meals.

One of the things that really sets Kaiju Noodle House apart is its dedication to quality. The restaurant uses only the freshest ingredients in all of its dishes. The owners take pride in sourcing locally when possible and ensuring that everything on the menu is made to order. This focus on quality doesn’t just show in the food; it also shines through in the service. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, always happy to offer recommendations or answer any questions about the menu.

A unique feature of Kaiju Noodle House is the chance to customize your ramen experience. Whether you like your broth mild or spicy, or prefer a certain topping to be added or removed, the restaurant encourages guests to make the dish their own. This level of flexibility is rare in many ramen shops, making it a standout feature for those who want to truly tailor their meal.

Beyond the food, the vibe of the place adds to its charm. The interior is modern but cozy, with quirky, anime-inspired decor that gives it a fun and playful feel. The atmosphere is casual, making it ideal for both a quick lunch break or a relaxed dinner outing. Whether you're enjoying a quiet evening or you're catching up with friends, the ambiance here makes it easy to unwind and enjoy your meal.

If you’re not sure what to try first, start with the house specialties like the Kaiju Ramen, which blends a rich miso base with perfectly cooked noodles, topped with a variety of ingredients like pork belly, bamboo shoots, and green onions. Or, if you’re feeling adventurous, try one of their seasonal specials. These dishes showcase the restaurant’s creativity and commitment to delivering new flavors that keep customers coming back for more.

For dessert, Kaiju Noodle House doesn’t disappoint. The Mochi ice cream offers a delightful end to your meal, with a chewy texture that contrasts nicely with the sweet, cool filling. It’s the perfect way to cap off a satisfying dining experience.

Whether you’re a long-time ramen lover or just starting to explore the world of Japanese noodles, Kaiju Noodle House in Azusa is the kind of place that makes you feel like part of the family. The friendly service, delicious food, and cozy ambiance make it a must-visit for anyone in the area. So the next time you're in the mood for a hearty, flavorful bowl of ramen or a light, fresh salad, head over to Kaiju Noodle House-you won’t be disappointed.

Been a regular here the last 3 years. My wife and I stop in 1-3 times a week. Brought friends and they love it too. Best Vietnamese Ive had thus far and their Pho broth is the most memorable around. No one makes it like them.

The food is great, very tasty... Services are very friendly, but you have to be super clear on your order, and they are still not getting it right. The place is cleand, they don't have a waiting line which I love it, they don't make you feel rushing for leaving the table for someone else. So far, I have been there 3 times.

Have I been blind all this time? I’ve visited this shopping center numerous times and somehow missed this gem! The chow fun is absolutely delicious, and the portions are big. I’ll definitely be coming back to try the pho next.

This family-owned business usually never disappoints. We love the veggie pho because the broth is vegetable based, not chicken stock. The vegetables are always cooked to perfection and the portions are decent. On our last dining experience, we ordered the vegetable dumplings which came out very quickly. At first bite, I realized they were not vegetable but some kind of meat. While the place was busy, we couldn't find anyone to flag down fast enough before they delivered the correct order because the first one was chicken dumplings. Other than that, it's a good place for yummy food at good prices.

Best Pho in Azusa & Glendora! Love this place. We eat here 2/3 times a month. Staff and owerns are amazing and kind. When it's cold or raining it's busy! So don't be rude.... just wait, unfortunately, everyone else like you had the same idea (pho)

First time visit. Restaurant was clean and service was excellent. Would have been a 5 star rating if they had a higher quality beef for the Pho. Also, prices are little high for Pho. Overall, i would visit Pho Express again. Thumbs up.
